Activity Groups

We welcome all who support our inclusive mission to support women and the community. Drop by on Wednesdays between 9 am and 7 pm to find out more about the Club or join one of our Activity Group meetings.

Antiques: Enjoy presentations and discussions with antiques dealers, collectors, and historians. Antiques, Culture, & Arts meets on the fourth Monday of the month, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in-person and via Zoom.
Be a Dear and Donate a Brassiere: Supports women in need by providing gently used and new undergarments to shelters, clothing closets and drop-in centers. We bring together our community of women to help others through special events.
Best Furry Friends: We create fundraisers, organize animal welfare events, and hang out with our best furry friends. BFF meets in January, April, July, and October on the third Tuesday of the month, 5:30 - 7:00pm at a member\'s home or on Zoom. 
Besse Books & Culture Group: We discuss books, attend cultural events and enjoy stimulating conversations. Don\'t be shy. You don\'t even need to read the book to attend. Meets monthly via Zoom at 7:00pm.
Handicrafts: Each quarter, we work on a different handicraft: we bake, we sew, we paint, we get crafty! Coming Back in December. Details coming soon.
Ladies Who Do Lunch: A hands on opportunity to give back to the community! We make & serve lunch to women at a local shelter. We are currently looking for a new place to serve lunch to women in need.
Mahjong: Welcoming all levels of players to join in the fun and excitement of this game. Beginners are especially encouraged. We meet the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 1:00 to 3:00pm in-person in the Fireside Room.
Music Study: This group hosts musical programs followed by a social time with the performers.
Voices in Action: The Group's focus is learning, sharing and doing, using our knowledge, skills and what motivates us. We engage with our community, support them and are a positive force as we identify and address issues of public concern. We use our voices to take action and be visible in matters of civic engagement. Monthly evening meetings.
Walking Society: The Woman's Club Walking Society formed for those who want to meet new friends, stay fit, and explore neighborhood streets and trails. Walks are not strenuous and often include a stop for coffee along the way. We meet the 1st & 3rd Friday of each month starting at 9:00am. Starting locations and distances (3-4 miles) will vary.
