San Jose Woman’s Club has eleven activity groups that meet on a regular schedule and provide information and friendship for members with shared interests:

Voices in Action: The Group’s focus is learning, sharing and doing, using our knowledge, skills and what motivates us. We engage with our community, support them and are a positive force as we identify and address issues of public concern.  We use our voices to take action and be visible in matters of civic engagement. Monthly evening meetings.
Ladies Who Do Lunch: A hands on opportunity to give back to the community, we make & serve lunch to 30 women monthly at a local shelter. You can buy or make the food and after serving, spend time with the women to share stories.
Be a Dear and Donate a Brassiere: Supports women in need by providing gently used and new undergarments to shelters, clothing closets and drop-in centers. We bring together our community of women to help others through the Make Over Day Project, Communi-TEA and OktoBRAfest. We have collected over 32,000 bras. Evening meetings.
Best Furry Friends: Working together we partner with local companion animal charities to volunteer, drive awareness, and raise funds for animals. Group meets ad-hoc based on member interests and events.
ACE – Arts, Culture & Entertainment: This newly formed group is committed to developing a variety of events including dance, music, art, and cultural activities that reflect and serve our diverse community. ACE meets on the second Monday at the Clubhouse from 11:00-12:30 p.m. in the Club’s Fireside Room. RSVP to Chair Darlene Tenes at
