Besse Books & Culture meets via Zoom on the first Tuesday of the month, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and in person at the Clubhouse on the the Wednesday following the first Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Besse group was formed in 1997 for those who are interested in discussing books, attending cultural events and enjoying stimulating conversations. It was named in honor of Club member and major SJWC donor Besse Slonaker, who passed away that year. Members suggest the books that are discussed each month. You do not need to read the book to attend.
